Hello! Welcome to my world. My name is Sateesh, but friends call me Sonny. I am originally from India, but I lived and worked in the United States, Canada and UK as an IT Consultant for about 20 years. I am 47 years old.

I am an Internet Entrepreneur currently engaged in promoting miochef.com, my own online catalog dedicated to spices and beverage premixes. My catalog has an online storefront hosted on amazon.com. I have always been fond of gourmet cooking, international travel & places, people & cultures and a free and uninhibited lifestyle. My online storefront is a result of my passion for these things.

I used to work out of my Toronto home-office until July 2011. I am currently in India on an extended stay working on my catalog. I love being in Toronto especially during the spring and summer time. The place comes live! In addition to my passion for food, I love smooth jazz, classical and new age music. I love Google. I love Android, although I am lately tilting towards iPhone. I absolutely love wholefoods! My favorite cuisine is Thai, but I am fond of other foods just as much. I love my MacBook, glued onto it 24 hours a day! I use HTC Desire smart phone to assist me with the mobility aspects of my life.

Just recently I went on a Himalayan Expedition backpacking to be part of mother nature and explore the northern Indian region. It was fun. I started out in Rishikesh. I covered Uttarkashi and Gangotri mountain range. I did some trekking on Gangotri-Gaumukh trail leading to the Gaumukh Glacier. Unfortunately I did not complete the trek as I developed shortness of breath around 11,500 ft and had to head back. I intend to undertake this expedition again next year.
